The latest sale was a small but clean 1 bed, 1 bath, 1000sf cabin located on Mallard Lagoon at 150 Lagunita Lane. Built in 1928, this home was remodelled in 1988. The lot size is just short of 5000sf which gives it just enough room to not be right on top of the neighbors. Listed at $439,000, this home sold for full price after spending 273 days on market and was purchased with a conventional loan. This property sold at $439 per square foot which is well above the current $380 per square foot average for all Big Bear lakefronts sold this year.

Although located on a somewhat narrow finger-like cove, Mallard Lagoon, this home has a dock with lake access and is in a serene, wind protected location. Mallard Lagoon was dredged in the past and still offers lake accessibility in shallower water years. The home has a lakeside spa which makes it a great candidate for being a lakefront vacation rental.
