Although not specific to Big Bear lakefront homes, I thought this info-graphic was worth posting.

I know that the Big Bear real estate market has seen values slide backwards almost 50% from peak prices. In fact, we are back to 2001-2002 prices. At the same time, we are at record low interest rates with the national average falling below 4%. It isn't often that you can buy something at the price it was offered for a decade ago while purchasing it with at a mortgage at a rate that is half what it was a decade ago.

When we look back 20 years from now, this very well might be referred to as perhaps the best time in history to buy a home!
