On a somewhat secluded 33,000 s.f. lot, and at 6 beds, 6 baths and 5000 livable square feet of upgraded appoinments and high-end finishes, this home which listed at 2.69M ended up closing at 2.4M. At a sale price of $480 per square foot, in contrast to the previous Big Bear lakefront real estate sale at 40116 Lakeview, this is the most expensive lakefront sale so far this year based on the price per square foot measure.

This most recent Big Bear lakefront home sale was a cash purchase, and is one of the 3 of 9 lakefront sales so far this year to be purchased with cash. It is interesting to note that the two most expensive lakefront sales this year at 3.25M and 2.4M were both cash deals.

Also, this property was listed for a lengthy 1165 days before selling and sold for 10% less than its list price.

Once again, Big Bear lakefront homes for sale are seeing more activity than they've seen in years. Hopefully this is a sign of an improved market to come. Only time will tell!
