North Shore Fawnskin Lakefront HomeAs mentioned in my last post, Big Bear lakefront real estate has continued to see sales remain strong well into the fourth quarter. Here are a couple more waterfront sales for your review.

39985 North Shore Drive closed on December 10th after a lengthy 1585 days on market. The time that this home was on market is deceiving as it was part of a lease/option agreement in which the buyer has been leasing the home the past few years and finally exercised their option to complete the purchase this past week. Listed at $849,000 and closing at $687,000, the price likely reflects the amount paid to close the sale after several years of already paying down the principal with lease payments.

An older rock-walled home built in 1952, at 4 beds, 1.75 baths and 2087 square feet on a 9,078 square foot lot, this home was a classic cabin that needed a lot of updating and work. That being said, this home is not short on character and certainly has the potential to be a wonderful vintage restoration project.

7Cove Drive Big Bear Lakefront59 Cove Drive closed on December 12th after just 64 days on market. This 4 bed, 2 bath, 2730 square foot lakefront home sits on a 7290 square foot lot. This waterfront home listed at $899,900 and sold at $892,500  at $326 per square foot. Having been built in 1961, this home had touches of 70s architecture with some remodeling aspects from the 2000s. In a nice wooded section of classic Cove Drive, this home had decent lake views through the surrounding trees as well as a decent sized back yard.
