122 Round is a 4 bed, 3.5 bath, 3279 square foot lakefront home built in 1991. Listed originally at $1,189,000 and eventually price reducing to $1,089,000, this home closed at $1,005,000 after 198 days on market at $306 per square foot.
This home was in good condition and ever so slightly dated. Facing west, this home has nice views across the lake, but is also quite wind exposed. As such, on windy days enjoying sitting on the deck or in the back yard can be uncomfortable. As well, this home does not have a dock but does have dock rights.
What an amazing rebound 2012 has been for the Big Bear lakefront real estate market. Sales have more than doubled and price measures are showing increases over last year's numbers. Meanwhile, the number of lakefront homes for sale on Big Bear Lake has stayed relatively low at a current count of only 22 listings. All this has made for an impressive turnaround in 2012 that we expect to continue through 2013 and beyond.
