Built in 2000, this home was relatvely new with an open floor plan. The back yard was a dream for entertainers with landscaped grass and a sand beach area with built in BBQ.
After almost three years of not having a 2M dollar sale on the lake, this year we have had 5 homes sell for over the 2M dollar mark with one of those sales being over 3M. Needless to say, there has been quite an increase in activity in the higher end lakefront estates. Being that 2012 is likely to end with twice as many sales as 2011, and with the upper end lakefront market showing vitality, I would say that the market has finally made the turn for the better we'd been waiting for. I am hopeful that these trends will continue into 2013 and that we will finally see consistent property appreciation after years of declines.
