Forest Springs Homes for Sale
Forest Springs, also known by Big Bear locals as "80 Acres", is a relatively upscale development located in the heart of Big Bear City. The area was planned and developed in the late 1980's with most of the homes being built in the 1990s. The neighborhood has gridded, flat, easily accessible streets with underground utilities. Lot sizes in Forest Springs are a minimum of 7200 square feet with some lots being marginally bigger.
Although most of the area is still well treed, Forest Springs has a somewhat suburban feel to it. Many permanent resident live in the area as it is a nice, clean, safe place where kids will often be found riding bikes and playing in the streets.
Most homes in the area are between 1500 and 2000 square feet with attached garages. Yards are generally nicely landscaped and well kept. Properties generally range from about $200,000 to $350,000 with most sales being in the $250,000 range.
Forest Springs is a great neighborhood to consider for both permanent residents and second home owners alike.
