This home was previously a long term rental property and was in livable condition. That being said, it certainly was in need of some fixing and updating. With an unconventional floor plan and dated condition, this house is a project in the making,
As far as location, it is on a level lot with nice views to the northeast, But that level attribute becomes somewhat of a detriment as it lends itself to being a shallow water lake frontage. There are currently several feet of weeds to navigate from this property's shoreline before finding open water.
Still, in the under 1 million dollar price range, there aren't too many homes out there to choose from. Selling at $487 per square foot, this home is well above the 2012 average in this price measure. I will be interested to see what the new owners do with this property. It certainly has potential.

This sale is the 25th lakefront home to sell so far this year, putting the Big Bear lakefront real estate market well ahead of last year's pace in which only 16 lakefront homes sold all year!
