Big Bear Lake Central is home to several deep water locations. Boulder Bay Estates, as its name suggests, overlooks iconic Boulder Bay and Boulder Bay Park. This area is flat and easily accessible with several deep water lakefronts. This area is also home to Waterview Drive, one of Big Bear's classic streets which winds its way alongside the lake through pine laden surroundings. This street is host to many classic, deepwater lakefront homes and offers a very "mountainy" feel. Pulaski and Aurora Roads are two cul-de-sacs off Waterview and are highlighted by some of Big Bear's most magnificent lakefront estates.
Heading east towards the village, Bear Lake Central winds along Metcalf Bay via Edgemoor Drive eventually accessing deeper waters on west facing Lake Drive. Round Road, Elgin Road and Knoll Road complete the peninsula. This area has a variety of homes, from newer, prestigious estates to smaller, classic true log lakefront cabins.
Lakeview Drive completes the journey across Bear Lake Central as it winds along the lakeshore offering lake access via both Avon Court and Lagunita Lane. Both these streets offer access to the lake via Sawmill Cove, a narrow finger of water yet more than sufficient for lake access.
