Since lakefront properties are the most desirable parcels in Big Bear, vacant lakefront land for sale is tough to come by. In fact, there are only a handful of properties left on the lake in prime locations that have yet to be built on. Many of these properties are priced as much, if not more, than improved properties.

Although you will incur the cost of demolition in doing so, you may be able to offset those costs by not having to pay for new utility meters if they currently are installed in the existing home. As well, some lakefront buyers will purchase an existing home which they can expand into the Big Bear lakefront home they desire.
